Psychological Healthcare Centre is committed to providing affordable yet highly professional services to our community. We keep our standard fees well below the The Australian Psychological Society (APS) industry recommendations of $300.

 

Our standard fees are:

Standard Consultation (50mins) $240

After Hours Standard Consultation (50 mins) - Weekdays 5pm onwards and Weekends $250

Letters, reports and completion of forms incur an additional cost to be discussed with your treating clinician.

Medicare rebates are available for psychological treatment of eligible mental health conditions. You will be able to claim a proportion of your fees from Medicare ($141.85) if your doctor assesses you to be eligible for psychological services under Medicare, and if you have a referral and a Mental Health Care Plan from your doctor. The number of rebates available to you depends on the plan your GP has deemed most appropriate to your condition. This will be explained to your by your GP as well as on your first appointment. If clients are not eligible for a Mental Healthcare Plan then the Total Fee is an out-of-pocket cost.

Cancellation Policy

Clients are required to pay a $50 non-refundable booking fee. If for some reason you need to cancel or postpone the appointment 48 hrs notice is required with the $50 booking fee transferred to the next scheduled appointment. If less than 48 hour’s notice is provided the $50 booking fee will be kept by Psychological Healthcare Centre as a cancellation fee and unable to be transferred to next scheduled appointment. These fees cannot be claimed through Medicare or private health cover. Any concerns can be discussed with your Psychological Healthcare Centre clinician.
